At Orizen, Dr. Tatiana Campbell, an acupuncturist, anesthesiologist, and infertility specialist, will coordinate our acupuncture services to enhance treatments.
During the first consultation, a full evaluation of the patient’s medical history, previous treatments, and current pregnancy plan is carried out. In addition, the main patterns of imbalance are diagnosed according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, and from that point on, the best techniques and combination of acupuncture points will be determined to treat the specific condition.
One of our highlights is the Acupuncture Protocol for Embryo Transfer (Paulus Protocol): This consists of 2 acupuncture sessions, one before the embryo transfer and one after the transfer, each lasting 30 minutes. The first session can be performed up to one day before the transfer, and the second up to 3 days after the transfer.
